Our mission is to empower the community to overcome physical and mental barriers, unlocking their potential to live life fully and nurture meaningful connections. By stepping out of the hospital and into the community, we aim to teach proactive health strategies that prevent illness and promote wellness, so individuals can stay healthy and avoid hospital visits altogether.

Our “Why”
MEOSS was created to challenge the broken healthcare system—one that profits from sickness rather than wellness. Too many people are cut off from care due to insurance limitations, and too many physical therapists are undervalued, forced to follow treatment models dictated by insurers instead of what’s truly best for their patients. Many people plateau in their recovery, not because they aren’t capable of progress, but because the system fails them. We knew there had to be a better way.
At MEOSS, we believe in empowering the community to take control of their health, break through physical and mental barriers, and live fully. Healing isn’t just about fixing pain—it’s about unlocking your potential, moving without fear, and building a strong, resilient body and mind.
Our ‘why’ runs even deeper. We’ve seen what happens when people lose hope. We’ve watched addiction, illness, and mental health struggles destroy lives. We’ve seen too many people give up on themselves—not because they want to, but because they haven’t been given the right tools, support, or education to truly heal.
That’s why MEOSS takes a holistic approach to healing. We combine modern science with time-tested healing traditions to provide comprehensive, proactive care. Inspired by Aztec philosophy and ancestral wisdom, we recognize the connection between movement, nature, nutrition, and recovery. The Aztecs viewed health as a balance of mind, body, and spirit, using medicinal plants, nutrient-rich foods, physical activity, and engineering innovations to promote wellness—principles that align with cutting-edge rehabilitation and neurofunctional training today.
Meet Celeste
Dr. Celeste Santillan is a board-certified neurologic physical therapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals regain independence after life-changing injuries or conditions. She graduated Texas Woman’s University-Houston in 2015, completed a Neurologic Residency in 2017, and became certified in dry needling.
Dr. Santillan has led exercise classes and prevention-focused programs for neurological disorders, pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Her dedication extends beyond the clinic, including volunteer trips to Peru and Guatemala, where she provided free physical therapy to underserved communities.
As the owner of MEOSS Physical Therapy & Wellness, Dr. Santillan is committed to bringing proactive wellness strategies to the community, empowering individuals to prevent illness, improve mobility, and build meaningful connections to thrive in every aspect of life.
Behind The Logo
The new logo features the agave with the death bloom. This isn’t just a plant—it’s a symbol of homeostasis, the balance between life and death. When an agave produces its death bloom, it means the plant is about to die—but before it does, it sends up one final, magnificent bloom, ensuring its legacy continues. This represents the resilience of the human body and mind. Even in struggle, we have the ability to adapt, grow, and transform. At MEOSS, we help people do the same—whether it’s recovering from injury, rebuilding strength, or restoring function.

Payment Options
*FSA, HSA, CareCredit*
*Cash, Credit, and Checks*
We are a cash-base clinic, but can provide a super bill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement (50-80% depending on your out-of-network benefits).
Why MEOSS Doesn’t Accept Insurance The Traditional Way
The current healthcare system is built around checklists, time limits, and red tape—not real healing. Insurance companies decide how long someone should recover, what treatments are “necessary,” and when care should stop—often without ever meeting the person they’re making decisions for. But true recovery doesn’t fit into their timelines.
At MEOSS, we believe in care that’s tailored to YOU—not dictated by a third party.
By working outside the traditional insurance model, we can:
✅ Spend more time with you in each session
✅ Offer treatments that actually work—not just what’s covered
✅ Provide one-on-one care that’s personal, effective, and focused on lasting results
✅ Help you stay on track with affordable group classes, workshops, and community-based wellness
We know paying out-of-pocket can feel like a big step, but investing in your health now means avoiding bigger medical bills, surgeries, and setbacks later. Our goal is to keep you strong, healthy, and thriving—without the limitations of a broken system.
If you’re ready for care that puts YOU first, we would love to work with you. Let’s take control of your recovery—together. 💪🌿
